John Christopher Depp II or known as Johnny Depp is an American actor, producer, and musician who was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. At the age of 20, Depp started his career as an actor and rose to prominence on television series “21 Jump Street” and his first film role in “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984) which made him became a popular teen idol. He is regarded as one of the world’s biggest film stars. His most commercially successful films are the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, Fantastic Beasts film series, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Tourist, and many more.

Depp is also a rocker and formed a band, Hollywood Vampires, along with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. He is the guitarist on the band. Even though Depp is known by many people and a great actor, yet not many people notice that he also has a band.

A long his life, he had been an actor in more than 40 movies. No wonder that he is also the winner of the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for the best actor.

I have been idolized him since I watched his movies, Pirates of the Caribbean and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Ever since, I started to watch more of his movies and realized that he really is a great actor because he can portray many characters with different faces and I sometimes did not realize that it was him. That is why he also called as a man with many faces.

Though he is no longer young and there are many new actors who can compete him, but for me, Johnny Depp is still a great and enormous actor I have ever known.
